House of Feet combines more than 100 years of experience in custom shores with the latest technology on our market. The complete production takes place in our workshop in Bruges.
measurement
The success of a good insole starts with exact measurement. To do this as accurately as possible, we have a number of methods.
We can put the feet in a plaster cast or in an impression box. We can also scan feet in 3D using the Structure sensor on iPad or with a laser scanner in one of our centres.
We treat patients for orthopaedic shoes in the home or hospital or in one of our service centres.
production
The complete production takes place in our workshop in Bruges. In this way we have an accurate check on every step of the production process. We make our shoes in leather and plastics of the highest quality.
Each orthopaedic shoe is also made with a built-in, custom orthotic insole.

reimbursement
Adult patients with a condition who are entitled to a reimbursement for orthopaedic shoes are entitled to a new pair up to the age of 65.
Patients older than 65, depending on the condition, are entitled to a new pair every year or every 2 years.
For patients under 18, this is as frequent as every 9 months.
The seriousness of the condition determines the category in which a patient falls. This is
determined by a medical advisor from the healthcare insurer.

- Annual entitlement to new orthopaedic shoes up to age of 65
- Older than 65, entitled every 2 years
- Co-payment: €167,32
Category C
- Annual entitlement to new orthopaedic shoes up to age of 65
- Older than 65, entitled every 2 years
- Co-payment: €209,10
